The Romanian Post made a summary of the achievements from the year 2022 right at the beginning of the year 2023, and below you can see which were the most important projects that the national company carried out, some of them going to take place even in 2023 .
We know that 2023 will be a fantastic year for us!
We will continue all the beautiful projects we have provided to our community and customers in our anniversary year 2022.
We started the blood donation campaign "Donate part of your life", in which 629 Romanian postmen donated over 283 liters of blood, contributing to saving 1.887 lives, numbers we are proud of.
We have revived the tradition of transmitting thoughts and feelings through handwritten postcards and carried everywhere by postal factors, participating with special illustrated editions at concerts, fairs and exhibitions, festivals, important events in the life of the business environment, contributing to the creation of priceless memories.
When our neighbors woke up to a senseless war, we got involved wholeheartedly in the support efforts and transported thousands of tons of humanitarian aid with Romanian Post cars and donated over 1.500 products (clothing, shoes, toys, mobile phones, tablets, household products, kitchen robots, etc.), became the property of the Romanian Post Office, the General Directorate of Social Assistance of the Municipality of Bucharest (DGASMB), for the activity of helping refugees who arrived in Bucharest.
We celebrated 160 years of the Romanian Post and are pioneers, among state-owned companies, in the NFT market by issuing a series of anniversary digital stamps. The funds obtained from the sale of these NFTs, approximately 45.000 euros, were the subject of a charity campaign and were transferred to the Casa Speranții Hospice Foundation for people receiving palliative care.
We were happy for our colleagues from @Fabrica de Timbre, who also turned 150 last year and, in order to perform in the quality of the services we offer you, we purchased a technological line for inserting envelopes and one of printing, of the last generation, which will help us to develop complete and integrated offers for massive sending of documents, especially from legal entities and public authorities.
The reputation of the Romanian Post was reconfirmed by postal athletes who exceeded their limits, such as Szekely Marinela Nela Shino, Mioara Făcăoaru Mioara Mada Maria, the dean of age Traian Vancea, from Cluj, or Robert Ghitea, to mention only a small part of them.
I discovered colleagues who dedicated their professional lives to the Romanian Post with a lot of love and dedication, becoming our ambassadors throughout the country. You met many of them here, during our "Stories from the life of a postman" campaign. Through everything they do, through their presence in our customers' homes, they have demonstrated that Romanian postmen are part of community life.
We managed to complete another dream: the establishment of the Romanian Post Foundation, which will be the tool that will help us get involved in even more humanitarian campaigns.
We started an extensive modernization and digitization process and operationalized several pilot projects – digital mailboxes and the digital post counter.
We don't stop here! We will continue to improve, to be better because you, our customers, motivate us.
Now, at the beginning of the New Year, we remain grateful for all that we have achieved in the year that has ended and we keep all the lessons we have received, directing our thoughts to you, customers and colleagues from all over the country.
We wish you, all those who make our existence possible, the Romanian Post, to have a happy New Year, with many completed projects, with bold dreams fulfilled, to spend time with your loved ones and may health be your faithful partner road.
