The Air Forces of the Romanian Army are doing Elite Training within NATO

The Romanian Air Force conducts elite training within NATO with pilots of allied countries, but also in the bases of the allied armies, and below you can see how Romanian pilots trained at Sheppard Air Force Base in the USA as part of a training program of the elite.

Elite Training! The Romanian Air Force sent two Romanian lieutenants to Sheppard Air Force Base in the United States of America, to participate in one of the most successful pilot training courses in NATO, Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training.

The officers are now in phase II of training in a joint fighter pilot training program for 14 NATO member states on the T6 Texan II aircraft, as part of ENJJPT (Euro Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training), where they are training to Alliance standards for obtaining the necessary qualifications for the execution of specific missions, upon returning to the country, within the Romanian Air Force.

So far, the student pilots have completed the planned stages of the Program and with determination and professionalism, are progressing day by day towards the fulfillment of their highest objective as a military pilot: the execution, upon returning to the country, of specific missions with multi-role aircraft and ensuring the sovereignty of national and NATO airspace.

Good luck!

Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) is one of the most successful pilot training courses in NATO, training over 350 military pilots and 75 instructors annually, equipped with over 240 T-6 A Texan aircraft II and T-38C Talon.

Romania joined this Program in 2017, and starting in 2019, it started sending pilots for training.
