The Minister of Education takes a New LAST MINUTE Measure for the Major Changes Announced to Schools

The Minister of Education New Measure LAST TIME Major Changes Announced to Schools

The Minister of Education took a new last-minute measure for one of the most important changes made in schools in Romania in recent years, and talks about a series of information provided to educational or administrative-territorial units, which will want to obtain money from PNRR for investments in equipment.

The Minister of Education talks below about the documents with questions and answers that have been officially published, they help the institutions to find out as easily as possible how they can get the money that is made available to them, and this is because substantial amounts of money will be available, and they can be used to modernize and equip schools.

"In support of those interested in applying within the competitive call for projects for "Equipping with furniture, didactic materials and digital equipment of pre-university education units and related units" (palaces and children's clubs, sports clubs, psycho-pedagogical assistance offices), funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan – Component C15 Education, we publish below a list of questions and answers resulting from the webinar held on Thursday, January 12.

We also publish a needs analysis model for writing a funding application. We remind you that the beneficiaries of this call are all types of administrative-territorial units (municipalities, cities, municipalities, sectors of the Municipality of Bucharest and counties), state higher education institutions that have established pre-university education units within them, as well as the major states of categories of armed forces/commands, within which pre-university education units are established and operate.

All 5 types of investments (furnishing classrooms, equipping laboratories and school offices with didactic materials and equipment, purchasing computer equipment necessary for the teaching process, equipping computer laboratories and equipping practical workshops in vocational education units and technical) will support the education system in order to ensure a quality, modern and inclusive educational process.

Projects are submitted exclusively online, through the electronic platform dedicated to PNRR, respecting the submission period: 19.12.2022 (9:00 a.m.) – 19.03.2023 (23:59 p.m.). During this period, potential beneficiaries of the call can ask questions related to the submission of funding applications by email. The call guidelines do not allow funding applications to be submitted in partnership.

The application will be submitted by a local public authority that administers the beneficiary schools or for which the attributions of other UATs have been delegated in this regard. The guide does not limit the educational unit's access to financing for different investments, respectively, for different types of acquisitions. If you target other types of expenses through other PNRR components, there is no risk of doubling financing. For all projects, you will submit a declaration that all the necessary conditions are met to avoid double financing."
