Poland intends to send no less than 60 PT-91 Twardy tanks, of its own production, to Ukraine during the similar period, this separately from the 14 Leopard 2 tanks that the country has already announced it will provide to the Ukrainian army to- and supports the defense, but also possible offensives in the following months.
Poland was one of the countries that offered a lot of help to Ukraine throughout the war, and it was the one that put the most pressure on the Western countries to help the Ukrainians, and now they are offering to send even more tanks own production to help the neighboring country in the war.
"Poland will deliver 60 PT-91 Twardy tanks to Ukraine. The Polish-made tanks, based on an upgraded Soviet T-72, will be delivered in addition to the 14 Leopard 2 tanks promised in early January, according to Andrii Yermak, the head of Ukraine's presidential office. An undisclosed quantity of the tanks was delivered by Poland in July 2022."
