BANCA Transilvania officially announces to Romanian customers about a very important first that it has achieved, the largest bank in our country, but also in Eastern Europe, being the first to launch animated virtual cards for customers who are willing to use such types of cards.
BANCA Transilvania has published an image in which we can see these animated cards, and they are already visible in the BT Pay application for any of the Romanians who have decided to activate a virtual card for online payments and purchases, so if you have done- oh, then you can already enjoy the new design they have.
According to those from BANCA Transilvania, these animated virtual cards can be used exclusively for online transactions, so we will not be able to use them even to make purchases at POS, something that is very important to remember, in the context in which the bank offers us the possibility to pay with virtual cards and in stores.
BANCA Transilvania only brings a visual change for customers, and that's because from a practical point of view, these virtual cards are no better than regular ones, because they don't allow us to pay at POS, so it's important to keep this in mind if you want to use them.
The animated virtual card is intended for online payments and is issued exclusively from BT Pay. BT Pay also comes with other new options that help customers save, top up their card credit and access current accounts, regardless of their currency.
One of the new functionalities, the possibility to add to the application all the current accounts opened at Banca Transilvania, transformed BT Pay from a wallet into a mobile banking application and now means a 360 experience, with access to current accounts and BT cards. The app has a new design with all the basic options on the main screen.
