ENEL, a company that currently has one of the largest customer bases that pay for electricity and natural gas services in Romania, has issued a very important warning for customers throughout the country, and if you are among them, you must to know right now what she is talking about.

ENEL is trying to bring to the immediate attention of Romanian customers the fact that at the moment they must be extremely vigilant about the online frauds that take place, including with the invoices that are issued for them, and this is because there are cases in which people have were tricked, and had the money stolen by these methods.

In the explanations below, the people from ENEL Romania talk about the fact that their contractors do not ask their customers to pay in cash, and they do not collect cash from customers based on the invoices issued, if this is not done in a store of the company, at a cashier, and a payment receipt is issued.

ENEL Romania says that in the situation where we were tricked into paying someone an invoice issued by the company, and we did not receive a proof of payment, it is good to use the instructions below to report the fraud, and there is a possibility to recover the money that was paid, because the invoice will also have to be paid to the company.

Payment of invoices issued by Enel Energie and Enel Energie Muntenia can be done in several ways, including through Internet/mobile banking, through the MyEnel application, as well as at Enel kiosks and banking and commercial partners. All payment methods are available here. Enel Energie and Enel Energie Muntenia employees and/or partners do not request cash payments and do not collect any cash amounts from customers regarding invoices issued by the company.
