The last-minute warnings of the INFOTRAFFIC center of the Romanian Police, due to the severe weather, show us at the moment which roads are closed throughout the country, as well as the sections of the highway that cannot be driven after the blizzard completely blocked the movement of cars.
The INFOTRAFFIC Center published this situation for 09:00, and the next one will come in a few hours, so in the meantime you can assume that the information below is valid for Romania during the next hours, so you have to be extremely careful.
The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police recommends that drivers take into account the weather forecast when planning their journeys and not to hit the road without winter tires.
Due to unfavorable weather conditions, traffic is closed on the following road sections:
– A1 Sibiu – Deva, sections km 224 – 238 Boita – Sibiu and 254 – 292 Săliște – Cunța, Sibiu county. Road traffic was diverted on DN1/DN7;
– DN 22 Râmnicu Sărat, Buzău county – the border with Brăila county;
- DN 2B Buzău municipality - borders Brăila county.
On DN 2 Mărăcineni – Oreavul, Buzău county and exit from the municipality of Râmnicu Sărat – border with Vrancea county, the traffic is directed, controlled, with a pedestrian.
RESTRICTED TRAFFIC (vehicles with a mass greater than 7,5 tons);
- DN 22 borders Buzău county - Brăila municipality;
- DN 2B borders Buzău county - Brăila municipality.
RESTRICTED TRAFFIC (vehicles with a mass greater than 3,5 tons):
- DN 2C Costești, Buzău county - border with Ialomita county.
