The Minister of Defense Announces an IMPORTANT Decision regarding the Romanian Army and the US Military

The Minister of Defense Announces IMPORTANT Decision Romanian Army US Military

The Minister of Defense made a very important new announcement for Romanians throughout the country, and this is because he is currently bringing to the attention of Romanians throughout the country a new visit he made to the most important military base in Romania, the base 57 Airline "Mihail Kogălniceanu" from Constanta.

The Minister of Defense talks about the discussions held there both with the soldiers of the Romanian Army and with those of the US Army, in this military base there is the largest number of American soldiers in our country at the moment, being also the command center of all troops stationed there.

"I discussed, today, with the command team from the 57th Air Base "Mihail Kogălniceanu" about the conditions in which the military and civilian personnel carry out their activities, about the progress stage of the infrastructure expansion and modernization projects, as well as about the state of the technique and the equipment in the endowment. For me, as Minister of Defense, it is essential to know what problems the Romanian military is facing and what they can be supported with.

I also met with the command teams of the contingents deployed at "Mihail Kogălniceanu" and witnessed an air police exercise executed by the Italian detachment. Moreover, "Mihail Kogalniceanu" is more than a military base. It has become a symbol of the way the free world relates to the security events taking place east of Romania. We have seen here all the interoperability conditions that forces acting together must meet.

It is essential that we find out directly from you what are the main coordinates of the activities you carry out, what are the problems you are facing and, above all, what can we support you with at the level of the central management team. The conclusions with which I leave here are among the best.

Mihail Kogalniceanu is more than a military base, it has become a symbol of how the free world relates to the security events taking place east of Romania. We have seen here all the interoperability conditions that forces acting together must meet. We have an atmosphere of permanent exercise here.

Today I witnessed, for example, an air police exercise carried out by the Italian detachment. We had discussions with the command teams of the contingents deployed in the Mihail Kogălniceanu base and we sent them all our support, because the activity here involves ensuring the best conditions for the allied soldiers and for our soldiers"
