Orange Urgent Measure Officially Announced to Affected Customers

Orange has officially announced a very urgent measure for customers who use its services at the moment, the largest telecommunications group in all of Romania taking the decision to offer the possibility of calling the assistance numbers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for free by Romanians who he is in Turkey.

Orange says below that all three phone numbers below, which were created by the MFA especially for Romanians who are in Turkey and need help following the earthquakes that affected the country, can be called free of charge from the network yes, even if the people who call are Roaming, and do not have international minutes.

Those from Orange Romania are not at the first gesture of this kind for Romanian customers, and this is because a similar measure was taken after the invasion of Ukraine, when many Romanians needed to call their relatives in the country, and they benefited from free of charge for the calls they initiated from the Ukrainian territory.

Orange Romania says that Romanians in the country who call those numbers will also benefit from free calls, if they initiate the call from its network, this measure being in effect until February 19, but of course it can be extended at any time, if the situation requires it , as it happened in the past.

We stand with all those affected by the recent earthquakes in Turkey. If you are on Orange, you can call the 3 assistance numbers made available by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE): +90 312 447 7945, +90 312 447 7940, +90 532 318 1726 for free.

The free service is available until February 19, both for Orange customers roaming in Turkey who have the roaming service active in all countries, as well as for calls made from Romania to the 3 numbers made available by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
