Minister of Public Education 2 LAST MINUTE Announcements IMPORTANT Decisions School Students

The Minister of Education has published 2 very important last-minute announcements for students from all over Romania, and this is because, as you can see below, we are talking about measures based on a Government project regarding the scholarships that are granted in Romania for university students.

The Minister of Education also talks about the payment of the transport to the location of the event, and separately from that he also talks about the "International Day of Reading Aloud", which he brings to the immediate attention of teachers from all over Romania, together with a series of important recommendations.

"Today, in the Government meeting, the draft decision was approved by which scholarships of at least 1000 euros are granted for master's, doctorate, postdoctoral and research internships. In addition, the Romanian state will also ensure the payment of the transport from Romania to the place of the internship and return.

In accordance with the principles of the "Educated Romania" project, we support the intensification of the internationalization process of the Romanian education system, by encouraging the participation of members of the university community in international mobility! We are convinced that such mobilities represent important steps in the training of specialists whose training should synchronize with current trends in the field of research!

Between "International Read Aloud Day", which we celebrated on February 1, and "National Reading Day", which we will celebrate together on February 15, we offer you some recommendations to encourage reading among students from primary education. One of the best strategies for this is to initiate and maintain a routine of reading aloud throughout the elementary school years.

By the end of fourth grade, children can understand what they hear better than what they read themselves. By reading aloud to children, we expose everyone, even those with difficulty concentrating, to less common words and complex language structures. Also, illustrations help us show children new concepts, and during reading we can show them what strategies a good reader uses to understand the text.

We hope the following recommendations will help you start and maintain a reading routine among elementary school students! Because every book title can be a good reading idea for someone else, we invite you to share with us in the comments what book you last read to elementary school children!”
