The Minister of Education Officially Confirms to Students the IMPORTANT Measures Taken by Schools

The Minister of Education officially confirms to students from all over Romania the very important measures that were taken in schools this very week, and this is because, as you can see below, we are also talking about the organization of simulations for the evaluations at the end of the secondary school cycles and high school

The Minister of Education talks below about the fact that they take place until Wednesday, in various subjects in the school curriculum, so that the students will have the opportunity to find out how the final exams they will have to take in just a few months from days, as you already know.

"The simulation of the evaluations scheduled at the end of the grammar school and high school cycles in the 2022-2023 school year, organized at the national level by the Ministry of Education, began today, March 20, with the written exam in Romanian language and literature within the National Evaluation of Grade VIII graduates -a (EN VIII). According to the information provided by the county school inspectorates (reference time: 13:00), 164.009 students were present out of the more than 177.000 students enrolled in the XNUMXth grade at the beginning of the current school year.

Following fraud attempts, 4 students were eliminated. The EN VIII simulation continues on Tuesday, March 21, with the written test in Mathematics, and ends on Wednesday, March 22, with the written test in Mother Language and Literature. The subjects are elaborated on the basis of the contents and the competences associated with them, according to the programs approved by the Ministry of Education. The subjects and scales are published every exam day, at 15:00 on the website.

The results will be communicated on March 29, 2023 and will be analyzed at the level of each educational unit through individual discussions with students, debates at class level, meetings with parents, as well as at the level of the teaching council, in order to adopt appropriate measures for each situation in part, the aim being to improve school performance. The grades obtained are not included in the catalog. By way of exception, at the student's written request, they can be included in the catalog.

The objectives pursued by organizing the simulations are to familiarize the students with the rigors of a real exam and to optimize the results obtained by the students at the end of their secondary/high school studies. The results obtained by the students during the simulation are analyzed at the level of each educational unit where they took place, through individual discussions with the students, debates at the class level.

Meetings with parents, as well as at the level of the teachers' council, in order to adopt measures to improve school performance in view of the summer exams. The results obtained during the simulation are not contested and are not included in the catalog. However, in exceptional situations where it is desired to record the notes in the catalog, this can be done based on a written request submitted by those interested."
