The Minister of Education Officially Approves IMPORTANT Changes to Romanian Schools

The Minister of Education officially announces which approvals have been changed for schools and students throughout Romania, and this is because we are talking about measures that were expected for a long time, but which are only now being implemented, which of course is a excellent news for many students.

The Minister of Education talks below about the curriculum for the Climate Change Education discipline, which was officially approved, but also about a ministerial order regarding the equipping of smart laboratories in schools with equipment to improve the experience students have.

"The school curriculum for the optional discipline "Education for Climate Change", addressed to students from the 7th and 8th grades, was approved. It is a certainty that climate change is the consequence of our behavior. Children need to understand the causes and impact of these changes and, to the same extent, to know solutions to combat them.

Reports on climate change and sustainable development were taken into account when developing the program. Students will acquire, in class, skills such as: identifying phenomena and processes regarding climate change, describing phenomena encountered in nature, formulating hypotheses regarding the causes of climate change. The skills acquired will be able to be applied during the practical activities organized within the "Green Week" national program.

The Methodology for evaluation and selection, analysis and resolution of appeals of projects submitted in the call for project proposals "Equipping with intelligent laboratories of higher secondary education units, palaces and children's clubs", provided in the Annex which is an integral part of this Order.
