The code orange meteorological warnings of ANM, the National Meteorological Administration, from March 28, 2023 for Romania, bring to our immediate attention what is happening throughout the country until this night, and not only, a morning warning being maintained and extended.

ANM talks below about the fact that an orange wind code with speeds of up to 140 kmh/h will affect the areas of the country mentioned below, during the next hours, and separately from that other yellow codes will affect the whole country until the morning of the day of March 30.

Targeted phenomena: severe cooling - frost on the ground and fog.

In the mentioned interval the weather will be cold for this date throughout the country, and the minimum temperatures will be mostly negative, so they will generally fall between -10 and 0 degrees and there will be frost or frost on the ground.

CODE YELLOW WEATHER WARNING!

Validity period: March 27, 23 a.m. – March 28, 23 p.m.

Targeted phenomena: wind intensifications.

Affected areas: as per text and map.

In most of the country, the wind will have local and temporary intensifications, with speeds of 50...65 km/h and isolated above 70...75 km/h.

ORANGE CODE!

Validity period: March 27, 23 a.m. – March 28, 23 p.m.

Targeted phenomena: sustained intensification of the wind, strong blizzard.

Affected areas: Southern Carpathians, Curbura and in the Western Mountains, at altitudes above 1500 m.

In the mentioned interval, in the Southern and Curbura Carpathians and in the Apuseni Mountains, at altitudes higher than 1500 m, the wind will have sustained intensifications, with gusts of 120...140 km/h, there will be a strong blizzard and very low visibility.
