Marcel Ciolacu: Millions of Romanians Targeted by Last Minute Announcements of the PSD President

Marcel Ciolacu Millions of Romanians Targeted Announcements LAST TIME of the PSD President

Marcel Ciolacu sends millions of Romanians across the country two last-minute announcements, which should be on the attention of many of them, and this is because the first concerns the meeting of the president of the PSD with the president of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, being offered below the details of the discussions between them.

Marcel Ciolacu also talks about the help that Romania must continue to offer to the Republic of Moldova in order to support its aspirations to join the European Union, Romania being a promising partner for the government in Chisinau until now, and it will continue to be.

"Today's meeting with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, was a good opportunity to reaffirm the full support of our partners for our country's accession to Schengen. In addition, the fact that Mr. President Steinmeier was accompanied by an important delegation of businessmen demonstrates the interest of German companies to increase their presence in Romania, but also to bring new investments.

Germany is the most important commercial partner of Romania and the second investor in the Romanian economy, and from this perspective we have an extraordinary chance to bring even more money into the Romanian economy and create more jobs. I also reconfirmed Romania's total openness to be actively involved with German companies in the reconstruction process of Ukraine.

The Social Democratic Party welcomes the strong pro-European message sent by our brothers from the Republic of Moldova and affirms its support for all the points mentioned in the "European Moldova" Assembly Resolution, adopted in the Grand National Assembly Square in Chisinau. Romania and the Republic of Moldova will be together again, in the European Union, in a community without borders, where we will be able to build further ties that will never be questioned by the anti-democratic forces from the East.

The European path requires efforts, the reforms that must be carried out involve decisions, but at the end of the road we will be closer to a Union that offers the guarantee of peace and a real chance for development. Romania will be there to support the Republic of Moldova in this whole process and in achieving the objectives mentioned in the resolution adopted today, and not only that.

In the last few weeks I met and talked with numerous representatives of the authorities in Chisinau and I assured them that just as I supported the meeting of the two Parliaments, I will continue to get involved so that Romania's support is more and more consistent because our country represents the gateway for the Republic of Moldova to the European Union."
