Marcel Ciolacu: LAST-MINUTE Official Announcements for Romanians by the PSD President

Marcel Ciolacu Official Announcements LAST TIME Romanians to the PSD President

Marcel Ciolacu sent, to the general concern of teachers from all over Romania, a series of official announcements, at the last minute, aimed at them, and this because he officially tells them that the authorities are prepared to take the necessary measures so that the claims teachers to be fulfilled, even if this has not happened yet.

Marcel Ciolacu says that he is also willing to talk with the representatives of the trade union federations, something that happened in the past days, but without any important result, and after 4 days of the general strike in Romania, it is hard to say if there will be any chance that the demands teachers to be fulfilled soon.

"I also met with teachers' representatives in Buzău. And I will do it anywhere, anytime until this problem is solved. Beyond the low wages in education, I think it's also about respect. Respect that has been missing for 30 years in the state's relationship with those who educate our children. The future Government must restore the dignity and due respect to teachers! And we are ready to take all necessary measures! I will always stand among the people and listen to their problems!

I would especially like to address the teachers at the end, but from the beginning I would like to thank them for the respect we showed each other today, and I am firmly convinced that after this , on this holy day of the Ascension, we will all gather at the prefecture, and we will continue the discussions together.

I don't think there are words, terms or expressions that can fully describe the meaning of the acts of heroism of those who rest in this place loaded with so much history. Whatever I would say here would still be too little, compared to what we owe to our heroes. I would just like to tell you that a people becomes a nation, when it gets to have its own historical consciousness.

Today we are a united nation, because we have a great history. A history that was written by our heroes, whom we honor today, here, in the largest cemetery of heroes in Romania, which is also one of the largest in Europe. Those who rest in these graves around us, are the ones who wrote the history of our nation.

Not just with words, but above all with deeds, with their acts of courage, love for the country, and supreme sacrifice. They are not only Romanian soldiers, there are soldiers who belong to other nations, but they all wrote here that page of history from the First World War, which refers to our country, our land, our nation."
