The Minister of Health sends an official last-minute information with extremely important measures expected for a very long time by millions of Romanians, and this is because a Mari Arsi center in Timisoara has signed a construction contract for the building in which it will be hosted, he going to treat the Romanians who will suffer major burns.
The Minister of Health comes with this news after years and years of waiting for the creation of a center of this kind, and separately from this we are talking about an order regarding the administration, financing and implementation of priority actions for mechanical circulatory assistance through extracorporeal oxygenation.
"The Mari Arși Center in Timișoara is quickly taking shape! The representatives of the Ministry of Health and those of the builder signed the contract for the construction of a new building in the premises of the "Pius Brânzeu" Timișoara County Emergency Clinical Hospital! The investment consists in the construction of a new building, in which the Burn Center will function integrated, composed of 6 beds for major burns, 6 beds for intermediate and post-critical burns and 5 beds for microsurgery and reconstructive surgery; ATI ward with 27 beds.
The operating block with 25 operating rooms; related spaces (Sterilization, Pharmacy, administrative and logistic spaces, technical spaces, etc.) and a heliport. UPU-SMURD with 58 posts will also operate. The value of the investment is 66 million euros, and the duration of execution is 26 months. The financing is provided within the project regarding the Reform of the Health Sector - Improving the Quality and Efficiency of the Health System financed by the Loan Agreement no. 8362 between the Government of Romania and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
ORDER for the completion of article 2 of the Order of the Minister of Health no. 736/2019 regarding the approval of the method of administration, financing and implementation of priority actions for mechanical circulatory assistance through extracorporeal oxygenation through membrane or percutaneous rotary axial minipump.
In Article 2 of the Order of the Minister of Health No. 736/2019 regarding the approval of the method of administration, financing and implementation of priority actions for mechanical circulatory assistance through extracorporeal oxygenation through a membrane or percutaneous rotary axial minipump - AP-ECMO, published in the Official Gazette of Romania , Part I, no. 08 of May 24, 2019, after paragraph (3) a new paragraph is inserted, paragraph (31), with the following contents:
"(31) For the period 2023 - 2026, the AP-ECMO composition is approved by order of the Minister of Health, based on the proposals submitted to the Ministry of Health by the Romanian Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Therapy." Art. II. - The specialized departments of the Ministry of Health, the county and Bucharest public health departments, as well as the hospitals that run AP-ECMO, regardless of subordination, carry out the provisions of this order."
