The Minister of Education brings to the attention of Romanians from all over the country an official last-minute announcement, which many Romanians must know about, and this is because, before the start of the strike in education, the special session of the Baccalaureate exam 2023 was organized, with a pass rate of 80.37%.
The Minister of Education details below the results obtained by the students who participated in this special Baccalaureate 2023 session during May, the vast majority of those who participated also obtained good grades, more than half having an average of over 8, which shows how well they were prepared for the exam.
"According to the centralized situation at the level of the Prahova County School Inspectorate, out of the total of 163 candidates who took the special session of the national baccalaureate exam this year, 131 students passed (success rate: 80,37%). In installments of averages, the following situation is recorded: 47 averages between 9 and 9.99, 35 averages between 8 and 8.99, 26 averages between 7 and 7.99, respectively 22 between 6 and 6.99.
Only one candidate passed the exam with an overall average of 10. There were no eliminations from the exam. The results were displayed today, May 26, before 12:00, in written format at the "Nicolae Iorga" National College in Vălenii de Munte (the center for the special session) and online, on the website of the Prahova County School Inspectorate.
Also today, between 12:00 and 14:00, possible objections to the written tests are submitted or sent by electronic means to the "Nicolae Iorga" National College in Vălenii de Munte. Candidates who wish to have their papers re-evaluated and present themselves physically at the examination centre, will have their identity card on them and will complete the standard declaration. Candidates who will submit the application online, will fill in the form declaration, scan it and send it, accompanied by the scanned copy of the identity card, to a special e-mail account created by the organizers.
The tests of this year's special session took place between 11 and 25 May 2023 at the "Nicolae Iorga" National College in Vălenii de Munte (Prahova county). This session is intended for high school graduates participating in the Olympic teams and international sports and artistic competitions that take place in the same period as the 2023 national baccalaureate exam (June-July session) and/or for high school graduates taking the academies entrance exam military from the United States of America.
At the request of the Bucharest County Commission or on its own initiative, the National Primary Education Enrollment Commission can approve, in justified situations, the modification of deadlines/periods and events in the Primary Education Enrollment Calendar for the 2023-2024 school year.”
