Marius Budai: IMPORTANT LAST TIME Information, Decisions Taken by the Romanian Government

Marius Budai IMPORTANT LAST MINUTE Information Decisions Taken Government of Romania

Marius Budai officially transmits a series of very important last-minute information, which all Romanians in the country must know about, and this because they highlight the decisions of the PSD Minister of Labor, on behalf of the Romanian Government, for the future law of salaries, expected by many people.

Marius Budai explains below what was decided from this point of view, both with regard to the general strike of teachers and the budget workers who will benefit from modified salaries as part of this new salary law, after it enters into force officially in force next year, following the promulgation by the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis.

"Until July 15, I have a deadline from the coalition to finalize the draft salary law, so that between July 15 and September 1, we can continue discussions with the unions, so that on September 1, the administrative proposal will pass the Government and be submitted to the Parliament. So far, I haven't missed a single task I've had at the coalition. I have no intention of doing this now either.

The principle from which we start in building the future salary grid from the future unitary salary law is the departure from the average gross salary in payment and used to build the state social insurance budget. For the beginner it will be like that.

We wrote in the substantiation note, I explained to the teachers why in the substantiation note we wrote the principle from which we start in the construction of the new grid and that I will not necessarily discuss closing other grids until I close the discussion with education, because so is the decision of the coalition. The principle from which we start in building the future salary grid from the future unitary salary law is the departure from the average gross salary in payment and used to build the state social insurance budget. For the beginner it will be like that.

The discussion did not necessarily focus on the strike, and it is very good that it was so. It was an extremely constructive discussion on what we want to do in the future with education. But yes, there were also discussions about the strike and the fact that we have children in their final years who need to. I myself said that I have two children in terminal years.

Certainly the discussions today continue at the level of the Ministry of Education. I, I repeat, did not ask the teachers for anything here, the teachers did not ask me for anything, but we had an extremely fair discussion from the point of view of the principles on which we must settle in the future."
