The Minister of Education: LAST-MINUTE Communications with IMPOSED Changes for Students in Romanian Schools

Minister of Education Communications LAST TIME Changes IMPOSED on Students in Romanian Schools

The Minister of Education made a series of last-minute communications, through which he brings to the immediate attention of students in Romanian schools a series of changes, which are imposed for everyone, and this is because Ligia Deca declares that they concern the way in which the environments end in the 2022-2023 school year, the minimum number being only two.

The Minister of Education explains below how students' averages can be concluded, separately making changes to other rules that involve the way students' averages are ended, Ligia Deca taking these measures because of the general strike, which continues during this period, and which threatens to completely block the education system.

"Today, for publication in the Official Gazette, the Order of the Minister of Education no. 4.430/2023 for the modification and completion of the framework Regulation for the organization and operation of pre-university education units (approved by the Order of the Minister of Education no. 4.183/2022). The proposals to modify the project subject to public consultation were integrated, so that.

In the 2022-2023 school year, the minimum number of qualifications/grades awarded to the student in a study discipline is two. In the 2022-2023 school year, the annual school situation of the students, by class, can be concluded without it being validated by the teaching council of the educational unit in the closing session of the courses and without it approving the report on the annual school situation .

Regarding the appropriateness of the changes made to the Framework Regulation on the organization and operation of pre-university education units, we specify that they were made in the interest of the students, in the context in which the percentage of participation in the protest of the education staff is different, from one education unit to other. The proposed changes ensure the legal framework for ending the school situation of students with at least two marks/qualifications by teachers who are active during this period or who resume their activity.

And it does not imply the termination of the school situation by the management of the school unit or by a teacher other than the one who teaches in the classroom. The provision regarding the elimination of the obligation to validate the situation in the Teachers' Council represents a measure to simplify the procedures at the level of educational units, in the context of the short period of time remaining until the completion of the courses.

We have eased this process of closing school situations, namely we have modified the regulation of internal organization and operation in the education system in such a way that the school situation can be closed by teachers with fewer grades. So let's not go for the number of grades that would have been necessary if we had had a year without interruptions, but let's be able to facilitate the conclusion of school situations in the interest of the students."
