Netflix, the global streaming giant, is expanding its horizons in the world of video games, bringing an unforgettable new experience to fans of the hit series "Squid Game". According to Netflix's announcement on Wednesday, alongside the unveiling of its 2024 gaming lineup, The Squid Game will be just one of many enticing titles to be released. These include "Sonic Mania Plus" and the sequel to the popular "Cozy Grove" life simulator, titled "Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit," developed by Netflix's in-house studio Spry Fox.
Netflix is also expanding its gaming portfolio with titles such as 'FashionVerse', 'Game Dev Tycoon' and a 'Rebel Moon' game developed by Super Evil Megacorp that will take place after the events of the upcoming Netflix movies 'Rebel Moon — Part One: An Child of Fire' and 'Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver', directed by Zack Snyder. The news is the latest revelations from Netflix's gaming division, following November's announcement of games in development.

Mike Verdu, vice president of Netflix's gaming division, said in a blog post: “By the end of the year, we'll have 86 games available — all included in every Netflix subscription with no ads, in-app purchases or additional fees. And with nearly 90 games in development, we're just getting started.”
Among those games are a trio of classic Grand Theft Auto titles licensed from Rockstar Games, which, as previously announced, will launch on Thursday in Netflix's gaming lineup, accessible through Apple's App Store, Google Play and the Netflix mobile app.
The three classic titles in "Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition" will be available to Netflix customers at no additional cost on mobile platforms. Starting Wednesday, Netflix members can pre-register to play the games — "Grand Theft Auto III," "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" and "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" — each updated for mobile.
Netflix continues to reinvent itself by offering a diverse range of entertainment, including through video games. Expectations are high for these releases, and fans are eager to explore the new gaming universes that Netflix has in store for 2024.
