DACIA: MAJOR Decision for 4 New Important Car Models

DACIA car production

DACIA, the domestic brand that has become a symbol of innovation and accessibility, is preparing to expand its footprint on the international market. In this context, the Renault plant in Bursa, Turkey, known mainly for the production of the Clio model, is preparing to diversify the range of assembled models. This development marks an important step in DACIA's strategy to strengthen its presence in emerging markets, especially in the Maghreb region and the local Turkish market.

According to our sources, Renault Turkey will start assembling four new models based on the popular design of DACIA Duster, Bigster and C-Neo. These vehicles will specifically target the requirements and preferences of the local and Maghreb markets. A natural extension of the DACIA range, these new models promise to breathe new life into the car market, combining modern design and functionality at an affordable price.

One of the models, related to the DACIA Bigster (R1212), represents the future family SUV of the DACIA brand, planned to be launched exclusively in the five-seater version. The production of this model in Turkey is scheduled to start in 2025. Then, in 2026, the launch of a variant of the C-Neo model, one of the most anticipated vehicles of the Romanian brand, will follow.

DACIA: MAJOR Decision for 4 New Important Car Models

In a strategic move, Renault will ditch the large station wagon design favored in Western Europe, opting instead for a three-volume sedan to align with the tastes of the local and Maghreb markets. It will succeed the Mégane Sedan model, thus strengthening DACIA's presence in the sedan segment.

Further, in 2027, a second derivative of the Bigster model (D1312) is expected to be launched, which will enter the coupé SUV category, an increasingly popular segment globally. The South American version of this model has already been the subject of discussions in the specialist press.

This expansion of DACIA production in Turkey is not only a step forward for the Romanian brand, but also proof of its flexibility and adaptability to the demands of emerging markets. Through this strategy, DACIA strengthens its position as a major player in the automotive industry, once again demonstrating its ability to offer affordable, robust vehicles adapted to the diverse needs of its customers.

Through these new initiatives, DACIA continues to strengthen its reputation as an affordable yet innovative automotive brand that responds to the ever-changing needs of the global automotive market.
