ING Bank states that the change will have a significant impact for both banks and their customers. What does the new electronic flow mean for clients? The new electronic garnishment processing flow comes with a number of important changes. In essence, the banks, including ING Romania, will be obliged to transmit daily to ANAF information about the balances of the accounts of customers on which seizures have been instituted by the agency.

ING Bank draws people's attention to the fact that this measure covers both existing and future seizures. After the attachment balance has been sent to ANAF, the bank no longer has the possibility to change it or make it available to the client, regardless of the circumstances.

This means that effective account management by customers becomes even more important. In order to avoid any inconvenience, ING Bank customers are advised to send requests for unblocking income or payments, accompanied by complete and clear supporting documents, as soon as possible.

ING Romania informs us that ideally, these requests should be submitted no later than 13:00 p.m. of the day following receipt of the seizure or collection of the income. This will ensure that requests are processed before the daily information is sent to ANAF.
