Romanian Post Closes Subunits All Romania When Why

The Romanian Post has officially announced that it is closing all its subunits throughout Romania, the institution subordinate to the Government of Romania making this official decision because on January 24, the Day of the UNification of the Romanian Principalities is celebrated, so we are talking about a legal day off.

The Romanian Post will have all the subunits in the country closed on this day, regardless of whether they are in the urban or rural environment, so it is important to know what is happening, in order not to go to any location and be prevented from entering.

Romanian Post announces when it will close its subunits in Romania

The National Company "Romanian Post" informs that, on January 24 - the Day of the Union of the Romanian Principalities, all postal subunits in urban and rural areas will be closed.

The announced program is in accordance with the provisions of the Labor Code, according to which January 24 - the Day of the Union of the Romanian Principalities - is declared a public holiday, in which no work is done.

Thus, the work schedule of postal subunits will be as follows:

  • Wednesday, January 24, 2024 – all urban and rural postal subunits will be closed;
  • From Thursday, January 25, 2024, we resume our normal working hours.
