ANM details on a weekly basis what the state of the weather is in the whole country during this period of time, but despite the information below, you must take into account the fact that the weather can change at any moment, so the estimates now could be completely different in reality.
METEOROLOGICAL ESTIMATES FOR THE INTERVAL 04.03.2024 – 01.04.2024
Weather forecasts for four weeks are made by ECMWF - European Center for Long-Range Forecasts. The weekly average deviations of air temperature and precipitation amounts from the average of the period 2004-2023 are estimated. Extreme phenomena with a short duration of manifestation cannot be predicted with the help of this product.
Week 04.03.2024 – 11.03.2024
The rainfall regime will be deficient in the western and northwestern regions, but especially in the north of the Eastern Carpathians, and in the rest it will be generally close to the normal one for this interval. The thermal values will be higher than the specific ones for this week, throughout the territory of Romania.
Week 11.03.2024 – 18.03.2024
Average temperatures will be higher than normal for this period, across the country. Precipitation amounts will be generally around normal for this range in all regions.
Week 18.03.2024 – 25.03.2024
The average air temperature will have higher than normal values for this period, in all regions. The rainfall regime will be close to the normal one for this interval, at the level of the entire country.
Week 25.03.2024 – 01.04.2024
Average thermal values will be above the specific ones for this week, throughout Romania. Precipitation amounts estimated for this period will be generally close to normal in all regions.
