The last-minute warning with meteorological information issued by ANM, the National Meteorological Administration, for Romania on March 14, 2024, brings to our immediate attention a series of severe weather phenomena that we need to know about right now.

ANM talks below about rain in quantities of up to 40 l/mXNUMX, associated with snow in the mountains, so the recommendations of the authorities are to be very cautious in what we intend to do in all the areas where we are going to move during the following hours.

In the mentioned interval, there will be precipitation in all regions and amounts of water will accumulate in general of 10...15 l/m25. In the area of ​​the Southern Carpathians, in Transylvania and Muntenia, local precipitation will be moderate and will accumulate 30...40 l/mXNUMX and isolated over XNUMX l/mXNUMX.

There will be rain, and in the mountain area, especially at altitudes above 1200 m, snowfall will prevail and a layer of snow will be deposited, locally consistent. There will be mixed precipitation in the northern half of Moldova and eastern Transylvania.
