The Minister of Education decided to make 2 extremely important, last-minute announcements for students and teachers in Romania, and this is because Ligia Deca brings to the immediate attention of all Romanians an important meeting she had with the ambassador of Tunisia in Romania , with all the details available below.

"Today I had a meeting with the delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Bucharest, led by His Excellency Mr. Ambassador Sami Nagga. During the discussions, the strengthening of the legal framework of Romanian-Tunisian cooperation was evoked by signing, in 2023, two bilateral documents in the field of education and the field of higher education and scientific research, in the context of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Romania and the Tunisian Republic.

The dialogue allowed exploring the development of common actions, including the possibility of exchanging good practices and ensuring expertise in key areas for the reform of the education system in the Republic of Tunisia. The results of the involvement in the modernization of the educational infrastructure are beginning to be seen! More than 200 children will benefit from energy efficient spaces, safer and equipped with modern furniture, in Kindergarten No. 230 from sector 6 of the capital!

A safer kindergarten, by placing automatic fire warning systems and external emergency escape stairs, properly lit spaces and a healthier environment for children, given that equipment that increases indoor air quality will be installed. The kindergarten is being modernized with funds from PNRR. The spaces will be equipped with state-of-the-art furniture worth approximately 700.000 lei, also through PNRR.

funds obtained through the involvement of the City Hall, sector 6, following the call launched by the Ministry of Education, aimed at equipping pre-university education units with furniture, teaching materials and digital equipment. Other educational units from sector 6 are included in the rehabilitation project. They will have the same facilities: Kindergarten No. 208, Kindergarten No. 274, Secondary School No. 117 and Kindergarten No. 170, Kindergarten Paradisul Piticilor, High School No. 309 and Petru Poni Technical College.
