The WHO announces a last-minute official decision taken for all the countries of the world, billions of people all over the world being targeted by the announced measures.

OMS Official Decision LAST MOMENT Taken All Countries of the World

The WHO announced a last-minute official decision, which was taken for all the countries of the world, it was communicated by the director Maria Van Kerkhove, and according to it we are talking about a new network for monitoring coronaviruses called CoViNet, which will allow faster monitoring of them all over the world.

The WHO says that through CoViNet both SARS-CoV-2 and MERS-CoV, SARS plus other types of coronaviruses that could endanger public health will be monitored, and this is to avoid a new pandemic like the one through which I passed in the last years and that blocked the whole world for long periods of time.

The WHO explains below what it means to use CoViNet to protect billions of people around the world and prevent potential situations, such as the one at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, and this is because humanity does not need to go through a similar problem in the future the following years, and the experts are trying to make sure of that.

"WHO has launched a new coronavirus network, CoViNet, to facilitate and coordinate global expertise and capacity for the early and accurate detection, monitoring and assessment of SARS-CoV-2, MERS-CoV and novel coronaviruses of public health importance. Coronaviruses have repeatedly demonstrated their epidemic and pandemic risk.

We thank our partners around the world who are working to better understand dangerous coronaviruses like SARS, MERS and COVID-19 and to detect new coronaviruses. This new global coronavirus network will ensure the timely detection, monitoring and assessment of coronaviruses of public health importance. The CoViNet meeting brings together global experts in human, animal and environmental health.”
