Minister of Education Official Explanations LAST MOMENT New Measures of Great Importance Romania

The Minister of Education announces a series of last-minute official explanations for millions of Romanians all over the country, and this because Ligia Deca wants to bring to our immediate attention the results that her ministry expects from the National Strategy for Parental Support, until the year 2030 .

The Minister of Education explains below to what extent the application of this strategy in the coming years, would bring the results that the ministry expects, all in the conditions that until now there has not been a strategy of this kind applied for Romania, unfortunately for parents and students.

"The measures provided for in the Action Plan of the Strategy lead to relevant results regarding the number and variety of services intended for parental support, covering all age segments of children (from birth to adolescence) and covers both usual/general problems and
specific problems/important difficulties.

Development and implementation of information, counseling and parental assistance programs intended for families, according to the different stages of children's development, using, above all, methods based on support groups, which also aim to share experiences, will allow parents to compare personal educational experiences and support each other.

Promoting the positive parenting model will encourage parenting behaviors based on the best interest of the child, ensuring a safe, engaging and favorable environment for development harmonious children. Good information for parents, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, regarding growth and care and educating children favors the dropout rate.

Premises are also created favorable to reducing the phenomena of neglect, exploitation, child abuse, the number of marriages early in poor communities, of pregnancy among teenage girls, etc. As a result of easy access to support services by all categories of people who have a parental role, including by those from vulnerable groups, who face greater challenges, they will feel more confident in their ability to care for the children, but also calmer, knowing that they can get help when they need it.

The reduction is also expected considerable of the potential obstacles generated by critical situations, such as separation, divorce, leaving home, dropping out of school, etc. Informing parents in the form of communication campaigns addressed to the general population, through dissemination of information about parenting, child development, parenting practices, etc., by calling different available resources (TV, magazines, brochures, Internet sites, Smartphone applications) has effects positive effects on their behavior towards children."
