The card loading process will take place between April 15-25, 2024, ensuring efficient distribution of funds to those in need. Among the beneficiaries of this support offered by the Romanian Government are:

  • People - children and adults - with severe, severe or moderate disabilities, who have monthly incomes of up to 2.000 lei.
  • Families with at least two dependent children, where the monthly income per family member does not exceed 675 lei.
  • Single-parent families with income per family member of a maximum of 675 lei.
  • Families and single persons who benefit from social inclusion aid according to Law no. 196/2016 on the guaranteed minimum income, with subsequent amendments and additions.
  • Pensioners of the public pension system, pensioners registered with sector pension houses and beneficiaries of special rights, with incomes up to 2.000 lei.
  • Homeless persons, according to the legal regulations in force.

Adrian Câciu emphasized the government's continuous commitment to support vulnerable groups through targeted financial aid. He highlighted that the food card system not only helps alleviate financial burdens, but also promotes social inclusion and access to basic necessities.

Adrian Câciu claims that these cards can be used for the purchase of food or for meals at the designated restaurants, offering flexibility to the beneficiaries to choose according to their immediate needs. This initiative is part of a wider effort by the government to provide tangible support to those affected by economic disparities and to improve the quality of life in various communities across Romania.
