The Minister of Education officially transmits important information regarding the last-minute official provisions related to a new legislation that Ligia Deca announced, targeting the pilot education projects, which are to be financed in Romania based on the money offered through PNRR.

"To obtain funding under this call, projects must fall within the funding criteria of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Component C15: Education, Reform 7: Reform of the governance of the pre-university education system and the professionalization of management, Investment 18 : Training and mentoring program for school managers and inspectors.

The PNRR target to which the call contributes consists of at least 60 state education units at preschool, primary, secondary, theoretical or technological high school, post-high school or professional and technical education units (ISCED 0-5), financially supported on a period of at least 1 (one) school year, hereinafter referred to as pilot schools, to implement initiatives
educational with an innovative character.

The objective of the call for projects is to increase responsibility at the school level, an essential function of the decentralized governance of education systems, by creating a network of pilot schools on systemic interventions, by financing the piloting of innovative educational interventions, new curriculum and teaching career models , of new models of decentralized management, to gradually increase, in a sustainable manner, the autonomy of pre-university education units at the level of 60 eligible pilot education units.
