ANM, the National Meteorological Administration, issued an official last-minute alert for Romania on April 17, 2024, bringing to our immediate attention weather phenomena that will affect our country during the following hours of this day.
ANM again brings to our attention a cloud of Saharan dust, which will cross Romania during this day, until 00:00, so that everything that will happen is explained to us, to know why we will see a lot this kind of dust everywhere in our country.
Notice regarding the transport of Saharan dust in Romania!
Between April 16 at 12:18 and April 00 at 16:XNUMX, air circulation, predominantly south-westerly, will favor the advance from the north of Africa of an air mass loaded with dust particles of Saharan origin, towards the south-east of Europe. This air mass will reach over Romania during Tuesday (April XNUMX), and dust deposits will be observed in the areas and intervals in which it will rain.
In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, the air mass loaded with dust particles will move towards the Black Sea and Ukraine.
