ANM, the National Meteorological Administration, issued a last-minute official meteorological warning in Romania on April 18, 2024, bringing to the immediate attention of millions of Romanians what they should know about weather phenomena throughout the country.
ANM officially explains below the fact that, wind with a force of up to 80 km/h in gusts, but also rains in quantities of up to 20 l/mXNUMX are going to fall in the areas mentioned in the warning below, so we caution is recommended in any kind of travel that we would like to do during these hours.

The weather will be cold in most of the country, and during the nights, in the intra-Carpathian regions and hilly areas, there will be some fog.
On Thursday (April 18), it will temporarily rain in the northern half of the territory and in small areas in the rest. Isolated water quantities will be 15...20 l/m45. Locally and temporarily the wind will intensify, with speeds generally between 55 and 60 km/h, and on the ridges of the Southern Carpathians of 80...XNUMX km/h.
At altitudes above 1500 m there will be precipitation in the form of sleet and snow, especially on Thursday.
