A new type of online Facebook Marketplace fraud has been brought to our attention! Scammers pretend to be FAN Courier and ask for information or money from people selling products on the Marketplace.
Please be vigilant and protect yourself by following these simple but very important tips:
- Always verify the source of any email or message claiming to be from FAN Courier – company name, email address or any other distinguishing features.
- Ask for confirmation through official channels if you have any doubts about the legitimacy of the message.
- Do not access suspicious links or download attachments from unidentified sources.
- Do not make payments online – FAN Courier does not ask for card details or process payments through payment links.
