The Minister of Education made 2 last-minute official announcements, which he brings to the immediate attention of Romanian school students, taking into account the very good results obtained by the Romanian Olympians at the International Advanced Informatics Tournament, IATI, held in Bulgaria, at Shumen.
The Minister of Education provides important information regarding the results obtained by Romanian students in this important Olympiad, and below you can see what they achieved, as well as some of the names of those who obtained medals in this Olympiad, in which they participated many Romanian students.
"Great news: eight medals for the two Romanian teams, plus another 32 obtained by individual participants, at the XIV edition of the International Advanced Informatics Tournament - IATI, held these days in Shumen, Bulgaria! 478 students from 16 countries competed! Two gold, one silver and one bronze medals for the senior team: Voicu Mihai-Valeriu, International Theoretical Computer Science High School, Bucharest, gold medal and first place, winner of the tournament in the Senior section.

I think it is wrong to refer to subjects in terms of ease or difficulty. National exams are not Olympics. The national exams confirm the achievement of certain skills listed in the graduate's profile. They must be calibrated, they must be calibrated from the point of view of the evaluation program, from the point of view of, I know, the period covered by the students. We need calibrated subjects for intermediate level. This is the level aimed at reaching competence, but which can also allow us a tie at the top."
