Minister of Health 2 LAST MOMENT Official Statements Important All Romania

The Minister of Health brings to the immediate attention of millions of Romanians 2 last-minute official statements, Alexandru Rafila trying to talk about the solutions he is looking for to prevent the redirection of patients from public hospitals to private hospitals, a growing problem lately.

The Minister of Health also talks about protecting the medical body in situations where there are no problems regarding their fault when carrying out their medical act, Alexandru Rafila speaking openly about what needs to happen for things to go much better normal.

"Let's not forget, for example, that family doctors are private operators and we send patients to the family doctor even if they are private operators. We are working on a strategy to limit this, I don't know if we will be able to eliminate it. We will try to do things applied and in a way that makes doctors responsible.

I think that a declaration should be made on the personal responsibility of the doctors who work in public institutions regarding this aspect, that they do not refer patients. Sanctions that can be applied must also be established. On the other hand, and we will soon introduce this in the managers' performance criteria, it is about the way in which the work schedule is respected in public hospitals.

Because some doctors who work in a public hospital must work for at least six hours, and completing up to seven hours is done through on-call duty. We are working on this. I would like to discuss a little about trust, about trust in the medical body, about trust in the health system and about what is happening in this period, which benefits, in quotes, from the electoral campaign.

I mean, the medical body is brought to an area that is not its own, the political area many times, and various debates, disputes of an electoral nature - and you will not hear me nominating any party or any person who makes politics - but we must let's work because people's trust in the medical body translates into people's trust in the health system.

And I think that what happens with professionals in the field of neurology but also in many other medical specialties, namely the leaning towards patients, the empathy with which they treat their patients, the professionalism with which they treat their patients deserves all the appreciation and does not deserve to be ridiculed, by various false information, lies or provocations."
