ANM, the National Meteorological Administration, has issued a last-minute official meteorological information, which it brings to Romania's attention on April 25, 2024, and this is because it explains a series of severe weather phenomena that will affect the country in the following hours .
ANM foresees severe weather phenomena of rain in quantities of up to 25 l/mXNUMX, associated with hail in certain areas, but also precipitation in the form of sleet and snow, electrical discharges will also be present, according to the information below .

In the mentioned interval, it will rain in the south, center and east of the country. There will be mainly showers, which in the southeastern regions will be accompanied by electrical discharges, short-term intensification of the wind and isolated hail.
In short intervals of time or through accumulation, water quantities of 15...25 l/m1500 will be recorded locally. At altitudes above XNUMX m, mainly in the Southern and Eastern Carpathians, there will be precipitation in the form of sleet and snow.
