Google Earth 2.0 for iPhone now in the AppStore

mymap Google Earth, the most popular application from Google, and one of the most popular in the AppStore, introduced more than a year ago, was updated yesterday to version 2.0. The big novelty that this version brings is My Maps. But what is My Maps? For those who don't know, My Maps is the option given by Google to people who want to create personalized maps when they go on a trip, maps that can be customized by the user to include points of interest, marking locations on the map where they want to go, friends' houses, restaurants, hotels they could go to, places visited by others, just about everything that could cross a person's mind. Starting yesterday, Google, by updating Google Earth, introduced the possibility for users to use these maps directly from the iPhone through the application, accessing the Google Maps account directly from the phone. The maps can be made using the Google Earth PC application, then uploaded to the Google Maps account, after which they can also be used on the phone. In addition to this important update, Google introduced support for several other languages, among which we are counted, finally. Google started to recognize us as a nation...

I have to admit that I'm starting to like Google more and more, especially since they made important updates to the maps in Romania. Do you use Google Earth? Do you find the new update useful?
