Video MMS patch for iPhone 2G/3G

With the introduction of official applications that add the option to shoot video on iPhone 2G / 3G the owners of these 2 terminals also requested the introduction of the possibility to send MMS with the videos filmed. Of course Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it doesn't even want to add the option to send MMS pe iPhone 2G so sending movies from this device is out of the question.

It is not for nothing that such a large community exists iPhone, some guys from ModYours they made a patch that adds the option MMS pe iPhone 2G / 3G and at the same time adds the possibility to send the videos filmed with such applications iVideoCamera or Qik straight through MMS/Youtube/Mail.

Here's what this little patch can do:

  • Take a video with a video application from the Apple Store.
  • Not compatible with Recorder yet.
  • The record in Camera Roll
  • Go to your Pictures
  • since the firmware 3.1, you can edit a video and shorten if necessary.
  • Then send them by MMS, Youtube or by mail.
  • Size limited to 590kb.

Although the MMS is limited by default to 590KB, you can change this limit from: Settings> General> Network> Cellular Data Network> "MMS Max Message Size" and replace it with 3,040,870.
