iVideoCamera 1.1 update

iVideoCamera, the first application that officially brought on iPhone 2G / 3G the ability to record video was updated today to version 1.1 via iTunes. You may remember from that time that the application had quite a number of shortcomings: low video resolution, lack of ability to record audio, limitation of recording to one minute, etc. Soon other applications began to appear whose main purpose was to cover the gaps left by iVideoCamera to bring users iPhone 2G / 3G who have not yet jailbroken the best solution to shoot video.

Here's what's new in version 1.1:

  • The video, recorded with high quality, will now have a resolution of 320 × 426 pixels;
  • Ability to record more than 15 minutes of low quality video;
  • Increased up to 10fps frame rate (still mode "Low Quality");
  • Ability to share videos also on: Twitter, Flickr, 12 seconds, Wi-Fi and FTP;
  • Added the ability to manage the video even from itself;
  • Fixed some problems;
  • The video will now be saved instantly, without having to wait (in the "Low Quality" mode).

The list of new features is quite large, but there is still a big minus, namely the limitation of the ability to shoot video to only 15 minutes and only on low quality. In these circumstances, I can only say that the developers should think again about what they will do in the future with this application because compared to the others it is not really worth the money, considering that some of the other applications also have free versions.

If you still want to buy this application, you can do it and for €0.79 you can buy it from the RO AppStore of here.
