The official application of Acrobat.com now in the AppStore.

Yesterday Acrobat.com launched in the AppStore the official application of Adobe that allows you to view, manage, upload, edit the pictures and documents saved in your account on Adobe.com.

With the help of this application you can create a .pdf file in a few seconds either by taking a picture with the camera (option available only on iPhone 3GS) or by selecting a picture from the library. The application also allows you to scan 5 copies and send 2 faxes, of course only from the documents uploaded to the Acrobat.com account, after their expiration you will have to purchase others through the application.

There are a whole series of applications with which you can view documents on the iPhone/iPod Touch and this one from Acrobat.com would be the very last one I would use. You can't see any files from the phone, only the ones uploaded on the website, you can't do anything other than see them or send them, the only interesting thing is the fact that you can create a pdf document from a picture but otherwise... practically useless. I was expecting more from Adobe, but this is it... maybe we'll have better luck with flash.

For those still interested in the application, it can be downloaded for free from any AppStore, you have the link for Ro here.
