Introducing flash on the iPad would dramatically reduce battery life

We all know that Steve Jobs is the biggest "fan" of flash and its introduction in iPhone OSon iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch it is his "dream" as a small child because it is well known that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it struggles to please the customers who spend billions of $ on its products.

During an employee meeting Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), from last month Jobs wanted to review some reasons why Apple does what it does and why it continues to do it for the good of everyone. Practically Steve Jobs said that floppy drives, standards for data ports and CCFL-backlit LCDs are a thing of the past and he is happy that his company has managed to forcefully "convince" users to give up these technologies in favor of new and much better. Exactly the same thing is planned to be done by Jobs and co Flash, has been wanting for years to force the big corporations in the online environment to give up flash in favor of other alternatives. Why? For Flash, in his view Jobs, is very buggy, keeps the processor charged for a long time and is a major factor for the low battery life of laptops, he even said that if he inserted flash on iPad, battery life would have dropped from 10 to about 1.5 hours, basically an 85% drop.

The problem is that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), he has been struggling for more than 2 years to do this, but with the shift of attention to HTML5 it would seem that they managed to change the natural course of things because once Google/Vimeo they set about perfecting the technology HTML5 to replace Flash, means that we will see major changes in the online environment in the coming years.
