F0recast 1.0.4 update

F0recast, the developer application iH8sn0w, who, among other things, also created sn0wbreeze/iREB for iPhone/iPod Touch, was updated these days to version 1.0.4, which brings a very important improvement.

If you didn't know, F0recast is a program for Windows who will say if iPhone / iPod TouchYour device can be decoded and with which tool you can do this, but it will also tell you if your device has a new bootrom or not and if it can be jailbroken completely or you have part of one tethered jailbreak.

The amendment brought by F0recast 1.0.4 it depends on the system that checks if your phone has a new bootrom or not, by implementing a new code that checks the phones, and now at least it correctly displays the fact that my phone has an old bootrom and can be fully jailbroken.

Although I do not consider it 100% correct, it is a program that can give you information with an accuracy of over 50%, so it should be taken into account, but the best method to test if a phone has a new bootrom or not is to jailbreak and give it a reset, if it enters the system alone, it doesn't have it, if it displays the logo iTunes after reset then it definitely has. Remember that we are only talking about iPhone 3GS/iPod Touch 2G/3G (new bootrom).
