BiteSMS is one of the best utilities for managing/submitting SMS-ers, for iPhone, and the developers of the application are working hard to release version 4.7 as soon as possible, today launching in Cydia through its own repo version beta 2 of the famous application.
A list of features for Bit SMS 4.6, the stable version of the application, you can find here, and now here's what news it brings BiteSMS 4.7 beta 2 :
- Added on delivery report that indicates the delivery status of SMS.
- Many improvements to Quick List such as support lockscreen section wider than the screen and the ability to delete messages with the swipe to the right.
- The QuickReply now has 8 buttons and each of them represents a different action. Through the settings you can customize the functions to display or not.
- Added the ability to delete messages from Quick Reply
- Even the Quick Compose was improved and we now have the opportunity to choose between keys 6 possible actions
- Added new settings for when you receive SMS on Lockscreen or when the screen is locked. Now we can manage and quickly see the settings in 2 different ways. For example we can set up the opening of the Quick List rather than opening the usual pop-up window with the message content to receive a new SMS.
- When we click the physical buttons for volume, the words "Click to write a message" now disappear much faster
To whom it may concern BiteSMS 4.7 beta 2 can be installed by adding in Cydia the repo: www.bitesms.com/cydia/beta4.7 but be careful because it is a beta version of the application and it could cause problems or installability of the phone.
