A tweet from today, from the account or official from Twitter, MuscleNerd announces that he is working on an exploit that will create a program for the permanent decoding of iPhone 3G, program similar to BootNeuter which is currently decoding iPhone 2G regardless firmware/baseband.
In the tweet MuscleNerd he asked for some iPhone-s to test exploit-, terminals that he did not promise to return in full working order if his tests fail. However, it is quite interesting how many exploits have appeared lately, first geohot with his video lesson in which he demonstrates an untethered jailbreak on a iPod Touch 3G and now the announcement that Dev Team could have an exploit that will lead to the permanent decoding of iPhone 3G probably regardless of baseband/firmware.
Daca MuscleNerd will find terminal donors and will finally succeed in creating such a software we will witness the second big hack for iPhoneAfter BootNeuter which decodes iPhone 2G.
