Above you have a video with iPhone OS 4.0 in all its glory, Apple worked a little on the way the system looks but more importantly, the implemented multitasking system works well, even better than I thought the first time I heard about it. Here it is look something more detailed about the system.
- SpringBoard : Starting with iPhone OS 4.0 we have the possibility to change the background of the SpringBoard by adding a custom wallpaper, and the dock has been redone so that it resembles the one in Mac OSX.
- Lease : Now we have in Settings some options related to the way iPhone OS locates our position: we can select if we want the position to be located using only the GPS or the A-GPS function that uses the Internet, we can block the pop-up option that displays in all GPS applications the current location and we can close the compass when we don't need it to save battery.
- Photos : the photos application also received some small changes, but these are related to the location, that is, the location where you took the pictures will be displayed and unfortunately this function is not 100% functional yet.
- Camera : The phone's camera has been improved, at least software, Apple has implemented a function for digital zoom up to 5x, function that you saw last night in the article with the videos presenting some functions of the new OS.
- Notes : The Notes application has received a small update, now all notes will be saved separately for several accounts, moreover, the error correction service has been implemented which is currently only available on the iPad.
- base band : The baseband of the phone has been updated to version 05.13.03, be very careful, if you somehow update it, you will not be able to decode it until the summer because no one will release a decoding solution for this baseband until after the release of the iPhone OS 4.0 from the summer!
