More than a month has passed since I presented you with any news about BiteSMS, and this month the developers of the application have worked intensively releasing no less than 4 beta versions of the application, beta version whose changelogs I will present in the following :
BiteSMS 4.8 beta 1 :
- When you use the QuickReply function, you have a thumbnail list of contacts available;
- A problem related to the management of contacts was solved;
- The problem with the display of Google ads has been solved.
BiteSMS 4.8 beta 2 :
- Added support for Activator;
- Now you are shown details regarding the date and time in QuickReply;
- The way in which contact images are displayed has been improved;
- The problem with the impossibility of sending messages was solved;
- Some Quick Compose bugs have been fixed.
BiteSMS 4.8 beta 3 :
- The bug related to the display of the number of sent messages was solved;
- The performance of the application and the animations in Quick Reply/Compose have been improved;
- The problems with displaying contacts in Quick Reply on iPhone 2G were solved;
- Problems with display in LockScreen have been solved;
- Added compatibility with Action Menu, Shrink and Notifier;
- A number of bugs leading to crashes have been fixed;
- The problems with the display in Landscape Mode have been solved.
BiteSMS 4.8 beta 4 :
- A new concept for displaying images in Quick Reply was implemented;
- The way the animations appear when switching from Landscape to Normal Mode has been improved;
- Date/Time are displayed in the Quick Reply preview window;
- The security of the application has been improved;
- Some bugs have been fixed.
BiteSMS 4.8 beta 4 can be downloaded from the repo: www.bitesms.com/cydia/beta4.8 but be careful because it is a version beta and it can damage your phone.
