Here's what you need to know about the new jailbreak solution to be released:
- jailbreak for all devices regardless of bootrom;
- it will work with iOS 4 (and most likely with 4.0.1, comex said that there are no essential differences between the 2 operating systems);
- requires activation of the phone with the telephone operator's card on which the phone is coded;
- it is an untethered jailbreak solution, meaning those with a new bootrom will not have to repeat the jailbreak after the reset;
- it will also work on terminals that have iOS 4.0 installed directly through iTunes;
- it will also work with the new 3GB iPhone 8GS that came with iOS 4.0 pre-installed;
- it will probably be available after July 30 when the iPhone 4 will be launched in 17 more countries.
I hope I have clarified everyone with this enumeration. I have written several articles about this new jailbreak solution and I considered useful an article in which to collect everything I have written these weeks. I don't know if those who have 4.0 jailbroken with sn0wbreeze/PwnageTool will be able to jailbreak with this software over the existing jailbreak, I will provide you with information only after the release of the solution.
