iOS 4.1 will allow us to check the signal strength

Apple left in iOS 4.1 a function very very useful for all iPhone 4 owners because it will allow us to check the signal strength depending on the area in which we are. Practically, this function will show us if the area we are in is an area with a strong signal or an area with a weak signal and thus we will know if the iPhone 4 terminal really has a weaker signal reception than the other iPhone models.

To activate this function, type the following code in the dial pad: *3001#12345#* and you will notice that the signal dashes will be replaced by some numbers that have the - sign in front of them. Now that you have activated the option, you probably want to know how to interpret the data above. Well, it's very simple, the higher the number, the weaker the signal, i.e. -100 represents an area with a weaker signal than -50. To return to the display with signal bars, you only have to press on the area where the numbers appear and the display will change.

I for one am glad that Apple gave us the opportunity to check the signal strength in this way, so we will be able to accurately compare the signal quality between several iPhone terminals.
