Today one website French published an extremely interesting piece of information for iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G owners, more precisely, it is about a possible compatibility of the FaceTime function with iChat from Mac OSX, but also about compatibility with a program for Windows. If this compatibility will be implemented, then we will be able to use the FaceTime function to video chat with people who are sitting in front of a computer and have a connected web camera, and this would really be a huge image blow for Apple. The FaceTime function in the iPhone 4 was praised by everyone and with the implementation of a jailbreak it could be used even through the 3G network, so we will be able to talk from anywhere with any computer.
I think that Apple would have a lot to gain if it really acted according to this rumor, and iPhone 4 sales would probably go up even more.
