Today Gameloft released a new game for football fans, Real Soccer 2011, which combines all the elements of the old series plus some new features designed to attract even more gamers. The Real Soccer series is perhaps the best series of games in the AppStore dedicated to football. Unfortunately, EA Games failed (in my opinion) to successfully launch the "FIFA" series, and Pro Evolution Soccer was never to my taste. Real Soccer 2011 is a very well made game, with quality graphics, precise control and newer with a slightly more sophisticated game commentary system.
Here's what's new in Real Soccer 2011:
- graphics redone to be compatible with the retina screen of the iPhone 4;
- the History mode that will put you in charge of some of the most successful teams in the history of world football;
- more teams and a database of players that has been updated;
- the possibility to see replays of some phases exactly like on TV;
- the possibility to upload on YouTube the most beautiful goals/phases given/made by you.
Real Soccer 2011 is one of my favorite games and if you are a microbist I recommend it with pleasure. The game is currently available in the US AppStore for $6.99 here.
